Wheelchair journeys
TARDIS International, Ipswich
July 2006
I approach able-bodied people in the street at random, and ask them if they would like me to take them in the wheelchair to wherever they are walking.
I give those who agree a raw hen’s egg and a bunch of flowers to hold.
At the end of their journey, they talk to me about the experience.
Each participant keeps the egg and takes one of the flowers away with them.
The action finishes when all the flowers have been given away.
