Collaborative performance with Jane Dudman during 'Sedition', Carlisle: a 2hr action in the gallery using headphones and microphones to communicate with each other within the space. Drawing on memories at random of the last 10yrs of our collaborative work, one of us whispered into the microphones so that the other heard it on headphones and simultaneously spoke out loud word for word what she heard. While speaking into the microphone, we made random abstract 'sculptures' from an assorted bag of materials that we each had beside us. When we had finished whispering what we wanted to say we place the object in the space between us on the floor.
