Before entering the performance space I gave each viewer a piece of charcoal and whispered in their ear ‘what are you thinking?’ On entering the space, they saw a projected slide show of ‘thoughts’ I had collected through random encounters in the streets of Moshi, Tanzania, in Tel Aviv, Israel, in Carlisle, UK and in Torun, Poland. A computer screen showed the thoughts I had collected during the day in Dubrovnik. The viewers added their own thoughts by writing on the floor with the charcoal.
